KeyChange Keyboard Technology Presented During Our Dealer Summit

During our recent Dealer Summit, our international dealer network was introduced in detail to the innovative keyboard technology of KeyChange. This presentation quickly became one of the highlights of the event. The direct reactions from our dealers were enthusiastic and encouraging. It was immediately clear that the natural touch, refined control and unique adjustment options of KeyChange add a new dimension to the world of digital organs.

For Content, this introduction marks an important step forward. We aim to offer organists the most authentic and inspiring playing experience possible, and the technology of KeyChange aligns seamlessly with that ambition. The collaboration announced during the DealerMeeting marks the beginning of a new phase in which advanced keyboard technology and the trusted Content quality come together.

The Innovation Behind KeyChange

KeyChange introduces a completely new approach to keyboard action within the digital organ. Unlike traditional keyboards that use permanent magnets to create a pressure point, KeyChange uses adjustable electromagnets beneath each individual key.
The result is a smooth and controlled touch, without the unwanted rebound associated with static magnet systems. This technology makes it possible to closely emulate the characteristic feel of various pipe organs.

Fully Adjustable to the Organist’s Preferences

One of the main advantages of KeyChange is the ability to store and recall virtually any touch setting. From a light touch to a firm tracker action, the keyboard response adapts instantly to the organist’s preference.

Perfect Integration Within Content

Content works closely with KeyChange to make this innovation available to organists worldwide. KeyChange keyboards are integrated into selected Content consoles, including the Cambiare models designed for Hauptwerk and Sweelinq.
We also provide a clear and intuitive on screen interface for easy adjustment of all settings.
In the near future, KeyChange keyboards will also be available within our new Crown Technology®.
